The Versalab Sharpener can sharpen most watchmaker screwdrivers quickly and accurately from 15 to over 17 degrees, included angle, depending on the user's setting. The grain of the sharpening is across the blade and so helps keep the blade in the screw slot. It produces a strong wedge, not a hollow ground, shaped blade. The two faces of the wedge are automatically parallel. A few strokes on the tip across the stone will nicely generate a flat on the tip.
It is extremely fast and accurate to use.
The design provides for blade lengths (from the front of the handle) from 7.5 to 17mm. and handle diameters to 5mm.
Comes complete with parts to preliminarily align the stone, and a hex wrench to manipulate the stone set screws.
The price is $245 with one stone + $9.50 standard shipping in the lower 48 U.S. states.
